This is a show of SUBSTANCE! I have grown too impatient with podcasts that turn everything into jokes with no relevant facts and then there are those that make obvious predictions only to revise them later if any minor change occurs. These guys give detailed, descriptive, step-step descriptions of plays and defensive match ups and rotations, etc. Listening to this show is both enjoyable and educational!! Thanks!
Often enjoyable show. Often a fun rapport. But also, unfortunately, Steve Jones Jr often sounds like he is just straight up annoyed to even be doing this podcast at all and putting up with Nekias’ often stat-based and “hipster” basketball takes. They will also often reference things from twitter or other insider basketball things and just expect the listener to understand or be caught up without providing any context. Spending the first 10 minutes of the podcast talking about Aaron Wiggins and the Raptors' defense is not the hilarious bit that they think it is, it's just actual poor news judgement. Crazy take here maybe but talking about stories in rough order of importance is the way every journalist/analyst in every subject ever is actually the universal standard for very good reason.
