Knicks put the spurs in a blender on a possession in game 2. It was called some of the best offense since the 2017 Warriors or 2014 spurs. Zach Lowe said it was a super blender. Sportradar tweeted the movement from tracking data on the play. Meanwhile on Nate Duncan’s podcast that possession was “great spurs defense” with a bailout three by Bridges. Feel like I got dumber listening to these guys. Don’t waste your time, plenty of good content out there.
Saying Game 2 on the 2026 NBA Finals was “refereed well” is a joke. It’s intellectually dishonest to say the refs weren’t biased. Only one team had technicals called against them. Only one team didn’t take a free throw in the 2nd half until 2 minutes left in the game!
Great episode with Dan Feldman after the Thunder-Spurs battle Royale. He’s a flame thrower, and his takes are not just hot, they’re cash! Dan & Nate make excellent contrasting points. Good stuff.
These are well informed fans, who have a wealth of basketball knowledge, however, many of their comments as of late have made clear to me that they haven’t been watching as much basketball as of late and are over reliant on on/off, dpm/epm and popular narratives to guide them. Many statements listed as fact were truly uninformed and only comments that would be made by someone who hasn’t actually studied up. Maybe I’m watching too much basketball in March, but I thought I’d voice my concern.
I love the pod, although the premium is quite expensive. Do wish it was more hornets talk (im from charlotte) . Also how is the lakers gm so hated on the pod after getting luka. And reaves is also the best contract ever at this point. Keep doing a great job! Ps more hornets talk😂
