  • Technical issues continue - episode restarts

The technical issues continue. I would really like to listen to this but each one spontaneously restarts at various times. A little podcast export QC would go a long way. Otherwise great content and knowledgeable voices here.

  • Technical Issues?

The podcast seems good and interesting, except the two episodes I’ve listed suddenly restart at the beginning at least once while playback continues.

Tips for Dealing with Azure Consumption Constraints and Hidden M365 Costs
Q: Does something like Azure Cost Management help in any kind of way here?
Yes, it can provide basic visibility if you scope correctly and generate service- or meter-based reports to give non-technical business users a readable, monthly view of spending, which helps start conversations and diagnose where hidden meters are affecting costs.
Microsoft 365 E7: Ready Or Not, Here It Comes
Q: Is Agent 365 worth it at $15 per user per month, and should it be bundled with E7 for most organizations?
The guest expresses uncertainty about broad adoption, highlighting that the necessity of Agent 365 depends on whether agents operate on behalf of users and how governance is structured; there is skepticism about making it mandatory for all users, suggesting a phased or use-case-driven approach until adoption becomes more clear.
Microsoft 365 E7: Ready Or Not, Here It Comes
Q: So the list price for E7 is $99 per user per month. Do you think anyone will pay that full price, and how should buyers approach it?
The guest notes that pricing will vary by purchasing channel (e.g., CSP vs. enterprise agreement) and that aggressive early-adopter discounts and negotiations may make the effective price more palatable for some customers, especially those already invested in Microsoft's AI stack and looking for upfront concessions; the advice is to assess the total cost of ownership and potential benefits against the price, rather than taking the sticker price at face value.
Thinking Realistically About Digital Sovereignty
Q: How should companies think about risk and prioritize workloads?
Companies should perform a risk analysis tailored to their exposure and data sensitivity, identify highly essential workloads, and define a time-to-recovery target to determine whether to run workloads on Windows Server, sovereign public cloud, or sovereign private cloud.
Thinking Realistically About Digital Sovereignty
Q: elevator pitch as to what digital sovereignty is and why it's important for companies
Digital sovereignty is about giving companies control over their own destiny in the digital infrastructure, protecting against regulatory changes, data access by foreign governments, and service disruptions, and treating it like insurance where organizations weigh likelihood, impact, and cost.
