In this final episode of the podcast, we definitively rank every Halloween film.
Today we're finding out how it all ends. Does Evil die tonight... finally? Is Michael pure evil? Does Laurie get to move on with her life at last? It's time for answers, and maybe lots more questions, too.
Today we’re hoping EVIL DIES TONIGHT. We’ll also be speaking to Jamie Lee Curtis and director David Gordon Green, and asking them about Michael’s Masks, his Motivations, and of course, if he is Pure Evil.
Today we’re catching up with Laurie 40 years later and acting like none of the other stuff happened.
And at the end of the episode, to get you ready for Halloween Kills we’ll be talking about next week’s very special episode and hearing from Jamie L... more
Today we’re following the serial killer and drifter Michael Myers as he’s brought back to Haddonfield by his mum and a giant white horse.
Today we’re stepping into the world of Rob Zombie for his take on Michael Myers. As an old friend would say, “Sick breeds sick.”
Today we’re stepping inside Michael Myers home for a reality show produced by Busta Rhymes. No, we can’t quite believe this is a Halloween movie either.
Today we’re heading with Michael to California as he tries to kill Laurie Strode 20 years later.
I love this podcast because I can finally understand what is going on in some these movies. I always found The Curse of Michael Myers to be a great movie but I never really understood the whole story. This podcast explained it and helped with other things in one of my favorite movie series.
Started listening again ready for the season. Are you doing a revisit episode this year boys?
Absolutely loved listening to this podcast. Gutted it’s over.
Loved this podcast. My own personal greed wishes it would last forever. Here’s hoping one day we get another “definitive” series because this one was great.
The hosts are a pleasure to listen to. They are funny and interesting, and talk about the movies in a respectful way even with the entries they did not care for.
Love this series! They discuss the glaring absurdities of each movie. It’s like watching with a group of pals and you’re all laughing it off but deep down…I’m still low key terrified when I see anything to do with The Shape. When do we get “Halloween Ends”?
I appreciate the fandom both guys clearly have for the franchise! It’s great to hear their well thought out discussions and ideas. They take it seriously, but have loads of fun. They’re very funny, and also are pros. Great interviews, also! This’ll be a series I go back to each spooky season to go along with my annual rewatching of the Halloween franchise.
Honestly as much as I like the original Halloween I don’t think it’s as good as a lot of the sequels. The non stop moaning about “violence” in the sequels is ridiculous and the welsh guy who keeps going on about it is just annoying. Dress it up any way you like, Halloween is a slasher franchise. Like it or not. Wish we could get this kind of podcast with actual fans of the series. Not just fans of the original movie.
I listen to podcasts almost everyday and shamefully never wrote a review of any. I felt I had to for this though. You guys are so funny and relatable, I found myself laughing out loud when listening in the car, probably looking like a nutter to any passers by. Keep up the good work. Please please please do a definitive companion for another horror franchise! Friday the 13th or A Nightmare on Elm Street would be fantastic!
If you’re hesitant to listen to this podcast because you’ve listened to a million podcasts about Halloween, don’t worry about it, get on it now! I promise you’ve not heard Halloween discussion like this! 😂
Excellent October listening from two personable hosts
The boys do a fantastic break down of what’s good and bad about these film to the most minute details that even blumhouse production contacts them to do an episode with them. This is a must listen to podcasts.
You are incorrect. Bob said, “I’ll be right back” when he leaves the bed to get a beer in the original.
Brilliant lads as always. Its inspired me to give Up The Creek a listen. An American horror story edition would blow my mind. Keep up the good work and as always big love!
Great podcast 🙂. Always look forward to the next
