Basically my criticism boils down to the host professing deep curiosity about the world and yet all the investigating is shallow regurgitation of other peoples ideas. If you are gonna sell people on a title that says “the deeper you go” I expect more than surface level glossing. Almost no analysis to speak of. Whats worse is that you can tell pretty clearly when he makes up his mind about something with what little information he does glean. The closest the host comes is occasionally thoughtful ... more
