Please stop using AI to generate content and produce the voice of the news. I will probably stop listening until this is corrected.
DMN podcast has been a part of my morning routine for years, but no longer. The switch to ai writing and sometimes reading the script is not journalism or news I can support. I’ll check back in the future if you’ve gotten rid of the ai.
The use of AI in script writing and voices makes this news debrief unreliable. The cost savings to use AI and lose listeners can’t be more than just hiring someone with a mic to read for 5 minutes. Shame.
I love the dallas morning news, but the podcast is now just an AI summary. It’s a real shame.
I’ve been listening to the DMN for the past 2+ years but this new AI voice is not it. The cadence makes it so confusing as to when one story stops and another starts. It also just sounds so natural with strange pronunciations that I’m having to rewind to figure out what is being talked about. Pretty frustrating as this was my go to news for what was happening in DFW
