I love these, thank you. I love UK country houses but live in Australia so have limited opportunity to visit them. It’s fascinating to me that there are so many, despite the destruction of many. Please pronounce place names clearly so we may look them up.
A wealth of interesting information and anecdotes about all things to do with country houses
A great listen to a subject I love and I have certainly learnt a lot. Love the interest and passion of the guys but the monotone, passionless voice and videos of Conor can come across like a Alan partridge character.
I recently took my first trip to England and fell in love with architecture and old buildings that I seen. I wished I could just go exploring in each one. I don’t get to spend much time outside of London, but after listening to this podcast, I can’t wait for my next trip so I can get out to the country and see some of the awesome homes that are discussed and actually have some knowledge about them. more
I discovered the country house podcast at the start of January through a TikTok I saw of Conor’s and have been hooked every since. Very well made podcast with a wealth of knowledge coming from Conor, Geoff and Ben that shows an incredible insights to all aspects of country estates and houses. Throughly enjoy listening and I’m extremely looking forward to hearing more episodes in future.
