So encouraging and helpful. I listened to her book and found the podcast. She gave me hope that I can change and be a grown woman in difficult relationships. Thank you so much!! Came away with a plan.
This podcast has lessons for you. I specifically reference the episode between the host and her mother-in-law, two really grounded and compassionate individuals working out and reflecting on life as in-laws. Their relationship inspires me to believe that healthy connections with the family you marry into is a possibility.
I listened to Angie and how God used her to help me see that The trauma I experienced as a child and into adulthood can be addressed. I always felt like there was something wrong with me, why could I not be set free. But I see that I need to address the trauma and that will set me free. Thank you ladies for being so real. Our churches need more of this.
I just finished listening to this podcast. I can so relate to the need for physical touch. I can go weeks, months, during Covid over a year without being touched. It is hard. It would make me so sad when I would think about when I was touched. I would see a massage therapist weekly just to have physical touch.
This podcast is definitely worth you time and really opens your eyes to reality and the world around you. Would recommend to anyone facing pain of any kind.
