  • Rules Lawyer Question

I am confused about how line of sight works sometimes. If for example If I was shooting with shooting with a tau strike team in to ten termagants but only 2 tau can draw line of sight to the termagants. I remember someone telling me that if one model can see they can all shoot. Is this true or would I only be able to shoot with the 2 tau?

  • Just an FYI

The new chaos space marine detachment’s special ability requires that you choose 1. You cannot gain + 1 strength on ranged and -1 AP on melee attacks if within 9” of a Psyker and DP. Gotta pick one when you do a dark pact.

One combo though is to bring a CSM Hellbrute which has a 6” aura that gives any friendly units lethal and sustained hits 1 in addition to one of the above new buffs.

  • 5-star content, just not enough of it.

Really enjoyed listening too all the episodes, but ran out too quickly. I’ve found them to be particularly useful for helping me gain a greater awareness of factions that I don’t play (#knowyourenemy). I’d listen to much more of this as just general discussion about particular factions and how they play, what to watch out for etc, doesn’t need to be linked to a particular release. (I am aware that there is much more of this in their paid content, but while I’m happy to throw down money for learn... more

Warhammer 40K: Codex: Death Guard Review
Q: If I attach a character with a piece of war gear that grants the unit a special ability, does that trigger or does it spread to the unit's ability?
It kind of depends on the rules. If the ability states the unit must have it, then only those with the keyword can benefit. But if it says the squad can gain that, then yes, they can.

Q: What are some of the considerations you're trying to prepare for?
