  • They go off on tangents too much, subject listeners to their bad impressions and get many of their Columbo facts wrong. I might not get through all of the episodes.

  • Could’ve Been Better

I really tried to like this show, but it only gets worse over time.

Both of these guys miss so much, get details from the show wrong, lack historical knowledge, and are CONSTANTLY mixing metaphors / using words incorrectly.

Overall, it just makes for a clunky, awkward listen where you wish you could talk to the hosts and tell them all of the things that they’re getting wrong.

  • Replaying from the beginning

I enjoyed John and Antonicus’ take on Columbo enough the first time through that I’m now going back through from the beginning and giving them another listen. I particularly love the depths they’ve gone to research the cast and crew. A lot of that is fun to listen to and not something other Columbo shows have dug into as deeply. Hope they’re able to return for more episodes soon!

  • Hello! I’m Charlton Heston

I am in the U.K. and Columbo is shown on “Channel 5 Star”, which is fitting because I give this podcast 5 Stars out of 5. Fabulous analysis and professional transitions coupled with incredible guest stars from the olden times make this essential listening and a companion to the series. Regards, Richard Benedictus, London, UK.

  • Huge Columbo Fan

I love Columbo and and pretty much all retro murder mysteries. Listening to this podcast scene by scene brings them back to my memory like I just watched them yesterday. I love all the details. Could live without some of the bad language. I’ve always held to the idea that you don’t have to use vulgarity to get your idea or point across. But otherwise this is a great podcast.

  • What’s with taking the Lord’s name in vain

What’s with all the swearing and taking the Lord’s name in vain geez grow up. It’s not necessary and shows your laziness with our beautiful language.

  • The idea to start each podcast with 20 minutes of reading the guest stars IMDB bios is why I'm done with this show. I really wanted new Columbo content but I'm not going to torture myself in the pursuit.

  • Yay for more Columbo-y goodness!

As a big fan of The Scottish Guys, and a listener of the other two Columbo podcasts all the way through, I was as bitter as a cup of the Lieutenant’s black coffee at seeing there was yet another one.

How delighted I was to be proved wrong, and to find John and Antonicus plowing through each episode with such joy, aplomb, researched details, and eye-rolling impressions. I am as fond of listening to them as Columbo is of his chili (with or without beans. Variety).

    Thanks gents, and carry on!

  • Fun Recap of Columbo-episode by episode

I love this podcast! They’ve done a lot of research for each episode and throw in all kinds of nuggets of info about the actors, Columbo himself, the sets, etc. I’ve listened to 3 other Columbo podcasts all the way through and thought there couldn’t be any more to say. Wrong! These guys are adding all kinds of info I didn’t know and hadn’t heard before. I love their breakdown act by act. Lots of fun!!
