I’m slowly working my way through the episodes . I’m around 39 now and learned lots as made it my 2024 goal to understand how to to invest. Only thing I’d like to know more of is what platforms to invest on, how do you physically buy stocks? The process ? He maybe covers it later but if he doesn’t- please let us know more about the different platforms. Difference in a normal platform over something like vanguard … I’m clueless and need this next! Thank you
As someone who has no background knowledge of investing, I’m so pleased I found Chris’ podcast. Not only is he documenting his journey for £4k to £1m and making himself accountable to achieving what seems like an ambitious goal, he’s able to explain concepts clearly for those looking to learn. I enjoy the range of episodes, including tracking his portfolio performance each month, analysis of companies and having an investor mindset.
Chris has taught me more in 3 months than I got from reading over 20 books on investing and valuing companies. His analysis is of the highest standard, and if you listen regularly you get a great mix of company analysis, portfolio tracking, tips, history and insight. more
If you like to listen to someone blowing their own trumpet about their investment journey about how he supposedly doing so well, then this is the podcast for you just talks about himself and at the end of the podcast tries to flog you a subscription service with no proof or substance or back up that anything he’s talking about it’s true yeah another podcast where somebody is trying to flog you something and just talking about themselves not helpful at all
Very useful insights into investing. I find Chris’s style very appealing. He explains investing concepts very clearly and gives me ongoing reassurance that putting my money in the stock market for the long term is the most reliable way to make substantial returns.
