This was such an engaging episode to listen to, especially hearing how humor can open the door for deeper conversations about resilience, kindness, and belonging. I loved the reminder that children’s books can be both entertaining and deeply impactful at the same time.
I enjoyed hearing Kenan discuss his thoughts on humor, how to deliver it in person and in writing, and what he hopes kids take away from his book.
