  • Depressing

I listen every week but I think that needs to stop. You think we listen to share your realistic pessimism and discussion of apathy? It sounded like you only grudgingly admitted it is possible they will do better. “There are reasons for the optimism in certain portions of the fan base” and you don’t begrudge them it? Gee thanks. How about you talk about players and scheme? You know - the sport instead of your feelings.

  • Whining sour grapes

Y’all, stop complaining about coaches “effort” on and off the field. I’ve listened to your pod (extremely happily, despite down seasons) but what are you trying to do with this VT recap episode? Re-listen to it. It’s not entertainment. It’s like your therapy session. And I wasn’t paid to listen to this episode.

  • Best UVA football & basketball podcast, period.

    Guys,

Well done. I don’t miss episodes. Great analysis, fun commentary and simply put just heart from the 3 of you. Your podcast with Tony Covington made me very emotional. What a powerful message about how much ground we still need to cover to be equal in the USA. It’s the best podcast I’ve listened to and I fly a UVA flag outside my house in Nashville, TN everyday. Black Lives Matter!!! Thanks for the great listen every week and for trying to make a difference. Go Hoos!

Episode 627: That'd Be Good
Q: Do you have any takeaways that are still sticking with you several days after the fact?
The biggest takeaway is that the team needs to win 50-50 games to reach a bowl and this one was an opportunity missed.
Episode 592: I Mean, You Could
Q: What position should Virginia prioritize in the upcoming recruiting cycle?
They need to prioritize offensive linemen, at least three of them, ideally with starting experience, followed by wide receivers and possibly cornerbacks.
Episode 588: We Could But We Shouldn't
Q: What concerns do you have about the SMU matchup?
I'm primarily worried about our quarterback play, and how it might affect our chances against a talented team like SMU.
Episode 588: We Could But We Shouldn't
Q: What do you think about the Cavaliers' game against Villanova?
It was a good performance overall, especially since Villanova is a talented team, but we'll see how they hold up against stronger teams moving forward.
Episode 578: Event Heavy
Q: What can we expect from Maryland in the upcoming matchup?
Maryland has talent, but their young defense may be exposed if UVa can capitalize on it.
