I discovered this podcast earlier this month while searching for Lisa Brenninkmeyer interviews. I listened to Claire’s interview with Lisa and have been listening ever since. I’m a recently converted Catholic in Florida, a pretty conservative state, so it’s very encouraging to hear intelligent and faith-based dialogue around difficult issues. Through Claire’s show, I’m discovering more thought leaders in the Catholic space to tune into along my journey. Thank you for creating by this!
Well-intentioned with excellent guests. It would be more fruitful to have a host who I can look up to as a feminist- in all honesty, she is a stay-at-home home who occasionally works. She benefits from the patriarchal system. We need more representation from single women, working women, women who carry unique crosses in the Church. I absolutely love this podcast. I live in the south and Catholics here tend to be afraid of the word feminism or hard topics like race or poverty. I’m so happy to have found a community that is catholic but also talks about less traditionally “conservative” catholic issues. We need to focus more on the Lamb not the elephant or donkey
