  • Outstanding exposition and depth

A truly excellent podcast for those interested in getting into the technical details of research. I watched the Greg Yang discussion to get up to speed on Tensor Programs and it was an excellent format for this. Tim does a great job of extracting the most important top-down intuitions from his guests while also asking regular clarifying questions so that the technical discussion remains lucid. Strongly recommend.

  • An unusually good podcast

Very clear, well-organized, and gets some difficult ideas across quite efficiently. The host is smart and well-informed but keeps out of his guests' way when they are on a roll. The shared white board allows interaction in writing stuff out that needs to be written out. Exceptional.
