Reviews

3.9 out of 5 stars from 9 ratings
  • Terrible audio quality

This podcast has great potential but is let down by two key areas. The first is the appalling audio quality, with inconsistent levels which make it impossible to listen to without having to ride the volume control. The audio of the guests is also often very poor. If a guest can’t provide good audio then they shouldn’t be allowed on the show. The other issue is the fact that “listeners’” photos are reviewed. It’s a podcast!!! Stop talking about visuals.

  • Good stuff but audio levels all over the place

I like this podcast. Has interesting topics but the audio levels of the hosts are either too loud or too soft. It’s frustrating and often listen to something else because of it.

Begin with a genuine, compliment-filled greeting, maintain relaxed energy, and manage expectations—always seek consent and keep a warm, authentic vibe throughout the session.
Annabel Osborne | From Avatar to Sydney NYE, Capturing Iconic Moments (EP180)
Q: How did your initial dream evolve into the path you took today?

Landscapes and Wilderness with Cam Blake (EP168)
Q: What was your favorite city in Japan to visit?
Tokyo stood out the most for me; its organized chaos allows you to plan shoots with a sense of readiness, especially at night.
Davide Balduzzi | Documentary, Portrait, Weddings and Videography (EP166)
Q: What advice do you have for photographers who want to start exploring video without getting overwhelmed?
View video as an evolution from stills; practice with your phone to keep things simple, shoot short clips (around 10 seconds), and learn by assembling them with music to understand pacing and storytelling without the full burden of manual camera settings.
Davide Balduzzi | Documentary, Portrait, Weddings and Videography (EP166)
Q: What sparked your transition into documentary and portrait photography, and how did India influence that shift?
The seed was planted by National Geographic influences, but practical documentary work emerged during a two-month solo trip to India, particularly in Varanasi, where he used prime lenses to create frame-filling portraits and to capture the atmosphere of the place, leading to a new direction in his photography.
