  • Functional Medical Institute

Please do not promote this company on your program. I contacted them and ordered their DNA testing kit and never received any e-mail confirming my order. On March 18 I received the kit. I did the DNA swab and sent it in the self addressed envelope the next day. It is now April 30 and I have not received any report and I have e-mailed them 2 times with no response and I have called them 2 times and still no report. I feel like I have been scammed.

  • Every parent needs to hear this!

Heidi’s recent episode with Sam Sorbo is full of hard truths that every parent should listen to. If you desire to take parenting seriously, listen to this for encouragement. Definitely could’ve listened to these two for much longer. Please do it again! Heidi, you are awesome and a podcast I rarely miss. Your show is my top pick.

  • Solid TRUTH!

Absolutely loved the first Fan Mail Friday episode. Heidi thank you for your practical and Holy Spirit-saturated wisdom for all things education (not just for children but for women), heart posture, and motherhood! You’ve gotten me off the bench :)

  • Love your opinion but…

Opinions are great but not the discriminative, disrespectful, plain out hateful ones. Your hate can make people kill themselves. (This is focused on the talking about same sex relationships with your children episode). Even churches say “we accept everyone” no you don’t. If god is supposed to love everyone and and forgive and listen why doesn’t he listen to the pride community then.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Fan Mail Friday: Truth, Grief & the Culture War at Home
Q: Anonymous in Detroit: After your daughter's abortion, how can I practically point her to Jesus while honoring her grief and maintaining family unity?
She recommends leading with truth while maintaining unconditional love, connecting with post-abortive support networks (like Abby Johnson's organizations), and guiding the family through grief with compassion and gospel-centered hope, recognizing the need for ongoing healing and faith in God's mercy.
Fan Mail Friday: Truth, Grief & the Culture War at Home
Q: Anonymous in Lancaster, Pennsylvania: Do you still think that war is a good thing and that President Trump's actions in Iran are important and necessary?
The host articulates that war is not something to be celebrated, but considers it a necessary measure under certain circumstances to safeguard national security, while emphasizing strong leadership, a clear objective like preventing Iran from obtaining a nuclear weapon, and the need to balance it with biblical principles and prayers for leaders.
Fan Mail Friday: College, Conspiracies, and Keeping Your Eyes on Christ
Q: What is a biblical response to the growing push for digital IDs and surveillance tech, and how should Christians approach end-times discussions without fear?
Be watchful and informed, but not fearful; recognize trends while remaining faithful, preach the gospel, and keep focus on Christ rather than getting consumed by speculation.
Fan Mail Friday: College, Conspiracies, and Keeping Your Eyes on Christ
Q: How should a Christian navigate a new corporate DEI policy that conflicts with faith, while supporting a family?
Pray for wisdom and discernment, evaluate the specific trainings, and consider seeking another job if necessary, but prioritize being a faithful witness while balancing responsibilities to family.
Fan Mail Friday: College, Conspiracies, and Keeping Your Eyes on Christ
Q: A young lady from The Bible Bee asked about alternatives to college for homeschool graduates and what they pursued after graduation.
Heidi argues that college is not the only path to success; many homeschooled kids become entrepreneurs or pursue trades, and even when a degree helps in corporate entry, it's not a hard requirement for success.
