  • Every parent needs to hear this!

Heidi’s recent episode with Sam Sorbo is full of hard truths that every parent should listen to. If you desire to take parenting seriously, listen to this for encouragement. Definitely could’ve listened to these two for much longer. Please do it again! Heidi, you are awesome and a podcast I rarely miss. Your show is my top pick.

  • Solid TRUTH!

Absolutely loved the first Fan Mail Friday episode. Heidi thank you for your practical and Holy Spirit-saturated wisdom for all things education (not just for children but for women), heart posture, and motherhood! You’ve gotten me off the bench :)

  • Love your opinion but…

Opinions are great but not the discriminative, disrespectful, plain out hateful ones. Your hate can make people kill themselves. (This is focused on the talking about same sex relationships with your children episode). Even churches say “we accept everyone” no you don’t. If god is supposed to love everyone and and forgive and listen why doesn’t he listen to the pride community then.

  • Constantly interrupting guests

I want to like this podcast, but she is constantly interrupting her guests. It’s difficult to listen to as the guest many times cannot complete their thought.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Fan Mail Friday: You Feel Like You’re Failing But You’re Not
Q: HB 5053 and legislative involvement—what should homeschooling families do to stay informed and engaged without losing perspective?
Read bills directly, connect with state homeschool associations, and engage through advocacy groups like HSLDA. Stay informed, speak with clear, concise points, and balance truth with grace when discussing policy with others.
Fan Mail Friday: You Feel Like You’re Failing But You’re Not
Q: How do I deal with homeschool days where I feel completely defeated and like I'm failing my kids?
Reframe success by lowering expectations and focusing on the core non-negotiables, maintaining presence over perfection, and recognizing that the rhythm of teaching can be flexible. Rotate attention among the kids, emphasize time in God's Word, and remember that discipline and love shape outcomes more than flawless lesson completion.
Fan Mail Friday: Discernment, Deception, and the Joe Kent Wake Up Call
Q: Why did you decide to stay in the race despite the endorsement dynamics and internal concerns about Joe Kent?
The host explains it was about defending conservative principles, staying true to her identity, and not allowing political maneuvering to dictate the future of her district, choosing to fight rather than concede without a battle.
Christians, Conspiracies, and Chaos with Frank Turek
Q: How important do you think it is that Christians engage, at the very least, in voting and understanding who is on the ballot?
It is crucial because politics affect the ability to live out and preach the gospel; Christians should participate to protect innocent people from evil and uphold justice, not abandon civic life.
The GLP-1 Explosion: Truth Behind the Hype
Q: If someone might be a candidate for GLP-1 therapy, can they get evaluated by you?
Yes; the doctors describe a process of evaluation with clinicians who understand peptides, nutrition, and hormone health to determine candidacy and personalize dosing.
