  • Every parent needs to hear this!

Heidi’s recent episode with Sam Sorbo is full of hard truths that every parent should listen to. If you desire to take parenting seriously, listen to this for encouragement. Definitely could’ve listened to these two for much longer. Please do it again! Heidi, you are awesome and a podcast I rarely miss. Your show is my top pick.

  • Solid TRUTH!

Absolutely loved the first Fan Mail Friday episode. Heidi thank you for your practical and Holy Spirit-saturated wisdom for all things education (not just for children but for women), heart posture, and motherhood! You’ve gotten me off the bench :)

  • Love your opinion but…

Opinions are great but not the discriminative, disrespectful, plain out hateful ones. Your hate can make people kill themselves. (This is focused on the talking about same sex relationships with your children episode). Even churches say “we accept everyone” no you don’t. If god is supposed to love everyone and and forgive and listen why doesn’t he listen to the pride community then.

  • Constantly interrupting guests

I want to like this podcast, but she is constantly interrupting her guests. It’s difficult to listen to as the guest many times cannot complete their thought.

The Hidden Father Wound Affecting Women with Rick Alitzer
Q: Why did you decide to make a documentary about this topic for women?
Rick explains that as a filmmaker who had worked on father-focused projects for men, he felt led to address women's experiences with father wounds, believing it was a vital area where healing could empower both women and their families.
Fan Mail Friday: Surrogacy, Faith Drift, Marriage Struggles & AI
Q: How should parents approach AI tools in education without fear, given kids are curious about them?
Teach discernment and how to think, not what to think; introduce AI as a tool, emphasize hands-on learning and critical thinking, and equip kids to evaluate sources critically.
Fan Mail Friday: Surrogacy, Faith Drift, Marriage Struggles & AI
Q: How do you stay close to friends who have deconstructed their faith without drifting yourself?
Stay rooted in Scripture, maintain healthy boundaries, and recognize that drifting is possible; rely on Colossians 2:8 and 1 Corinthians 15:33 to guard your faith while remaining in contact with skeptical friends.
Fan Mail Friday: Surrogacy, Faith Drift, Marriage Struggles & AI
Q: What is your advice to a wife whose husband has mismanaged finances for 20 years?
Seek accountability through the church and wise counsel, consider a structured financial plan (like Dave Ramsey or Crown Financial), and explore practical steps while encouraging your husband to provide for the family.
Homeschool Freedom Is Slipping with Mike Farris
Q: Why is it important for ordinary people to stay involved and vigilant about homeschooling laws?
Because legislative and regulatory shifts at the state level can set precedents that affect freedom nationwide; real-world evidence from families and kids shows homeschooling works well, and public engagement helps legislators see homeschooling as concrete people, not abstractions.
