  • First Podcast

My therapist has been recommending podcasts to me for a while now to help cope with grief/loss and anxiety. I am in my 40s and have never listened to a podcast before. I was introduced to “Build Different” at the Ignite Men’s Conference this past weekend so I thought I’d give it a try. I have already listened to 3 episodes this week and it has been such a tremendous blessing. I am grateful for the encouragement and hope that I was able to glean from the podcasts so far.

Q: When does estrangement happen most frequently, and what are the key ingredients that lead to zero contact?
Estrangement often follows a build-up of small, unresolved moments—differences in values, communication gaps, and long-standing hurt. While divorce and policy or religious differences can contribute, the pathway is usually gradual rather than a single event, with ongoing relational fatigue and lack of goodwill creating distance.

While it doesn't change my urgency, it helps with the perspective of navigating to what's most important.
The Work You Were Wired To Do: Finding Your Calling, Clarity, & Career Alignment with Ken Coleman, Ep. 289
Q: If you had one opportunity to share just one final word of hope, what would it be?
