  • First Podcast

My therapist has been recommending podcasts to me for a while now to help cope with grief/loss and anxiety. I am in my 40s and have never listened to a podcast before. I was introduced to “Build Different” at the Ignite Men’s Conference this past weekend so I thought I’d give it a try. I have already listened to 3 episodes this week and it has been such a tremendous blessing. I am grateful for the encouragement and hope that I was able to glean from the podcasts so far.

Absolutely not, and it's okay to wrestle with those big questions.
Finding Courage When You Feel Discouraged: Standing Strong in Changing Times, Ep. 265
Q: Speak to a pastor or a ministry leader that, you know, what I've heard you talk about where I'm not going to waiver from truth, not for, you know, a 501c3 status, not for a tithe.
You have to trust the Lord with everything, or it's not really his.

Q: What are some practical steps toward help, hope, and healing for someone experiencing an unwanted divorce?
Acceptance is important, and it can happen in micro decisions. It's essential to let go of needing all the answers, which can keep someone stuck in the past.

Q: What would you say to somebody out there that's listening that might find themselves in a toxic marriage?
There are difficult marriages we should fight for, but there are toxic marriages where one person is being destroyed, and in those cases, it's important to acknowledge the situation and seek help rather than feel trapped.
