As a westend performer for many years I love listening to the Broadway Husbands! They have some great Broadway interviews, and take us on their own personal journey from New York to dealing with covid times. A great podcast all round.
On a recent drive across the country I needed something that I could listen to consistently and not get burned out on. The Broadway Husbands delivered! By the end of the trip I felt like I had made two new friends. They have great guests and do an excellent job of keeping the conversation light and flowing.
What I love about The Broadway Husbands podcast is that in addition to Broadway talk & interviews, they discuss real life topics from how to keep the spark in your marriage alive to moving to skin care. This podcast has something for everyone!
This podcast has been an absolute bright light for me in these crazy times. I’ve been quarantining essentially solo in a new city where I don’t really know many people yet. That plus being furloughed from my job has made this a very lonely and isolating time. The joy you guys bring to each episode, and the camaraderie you share with your guests has gone a long way towards helping me feel a little less alone. Thanks Bret & Stephen! Cheers!
Hi guys
Fascinating to hear your perspective on this. You both certainly have dealt with a lot of ’stuff’ and both being in a very ‘competitive’ industry must certainly add more stress.
How much do you discuss / help each other in this journey? Do you feel you still need the therapist because you don’t feel qualified yourselves to help/guide each other?
The use of therapists seems to be much more common in the USA than it is here in Australia.
Loving all the podcasts.
