  • Great, but would like to hear the full episode!

I’m really enjoying this podcast, and think Jake’s and Andrew’s incisive analysis is spot on. I am a subscriber, but don’t do substack. Other podcasts issue the podcast early to their followers on substack, and ... more

‘It’s activism masquerading as journalism’: Former Sky newsreader and director of BBC TV speak out
Q: How do we balance accountability with freedom of speech?
It is not possible with the BBC; it is considered incorrigible and beyond reform.
Ed Husain: Is Islam compatible with the West?
Q: Could you tell me a brief, positive history of your background and where you're coming from?
Sure. I went through a stage in my life for about five years associated with what we today call extremist Islamist organizations, beginning with Hezbollah Tahrir and subsequently the Muslim Brotherhood and Hamas.
Tom Holland - “A Civilisational Earthquake” The Fall of Christianity and Rise of Islam in the West
Q: How do we address the difficulty of radical Islamists who aren't aligned with Western values?
It requires Muslims to accept that they need to adjust their faith identity to fit within a broader secular society.
Banning Israeli Football Fans: A New Low for Britain | The Brink Rapid Response
Q: Do you see this with the exclusion of Israeli fans for their own safety as different to that example?
Andrew expresses that he sees it differently, as it was the local council and security advisory group's decision based on various consultations, not solely the police's decision.
[Exclusive] Yoav Gallant - Harsh Truths About Hamas, Gaza & the West | Former Israeli Defence Minister Yoav
Q: When do you think is the right time for an inquiry into what happened on 7th of October?
Gallant acknowledges the events of October 7th as a grave mistake and indicates a need for a thorough investigation, although he doesn't specify timing in the excerpt.
