I felt the plot kinda skewed more towards superhero stuff than the mental health aspects as time went on. Still an amazingly solid heartfelt story.
The humanity in the story and of the characters really hits. The character, Frank, is really emotive and feels so genuine. I love the story. Tops for me.
Brilliant stuff. Therapy for those with powerful abilities.
Lauren Shippen is an amazing writer, and while I don't know the details of how it ended up happening, the choice of Julia Morizawa as Dr. Bright is inspired. She brings gravity, kindness, every emotion one could think of to the character. Just WOW.
All the voice actors do a great job, and the writing is top notch. But special shoutout to Ms Morizawa.
I liked the first two seasons, but began cooling midway through Season 3. There is some good suspense at the beginning, but it takes too long for the plot to unfold. I just couldn't get myself to care enough about the characters, and I don't see myself listening to another 4 seasons, so I unsubscribed.
This is the first podcast I have ever listed to. Blown away with this story! Totally hooked!
