  • Inspiring & informative

As a writer navigating the process of finding an agent and publisher, I’ve found the conversations on The Bookshop Podcast to be so helpful — both for inspiring me to complete my manuscript and for giving me useful next steps going forwards. Mandy is an excellent host, always asking insightful questions in conversation with her excellent (and varied!) guests. • Interesting Episodes!

This is one of my favorite podcasts. As a new indie novelist, I’m learning about bookstores, literary considerations, and writing experiences. As a reader, mom, and teacher, I share a love for books. Thanks for thoughtfully interviewing authors and book enthusiasts, Mandy!

  • Mandy is a superb host

What a wonderful interviewer. Mandy — who is also a musician, among other things — is intellectually curious, truly does her homework, and genuinely loves books, authors, and independent presses and booksellers. But more than that, she throws off sparks of hope and compassion and an indefinable connection to her guests. May she have a long and successful career. Follow her! more
