  • Thank you for taking a break…

I don’t believe this has ever been seriously said, but this podcast is one of the most meaningful uses of my time (with my children), and I’m thankful that you are both resting. Such wisdom. If you never record another episode, the back catalog alone is a window into a lifetime of listening and reading enjoyment. God bless you.

  • Book Recommendation

I love this podcast. It has two of my favorite things: books and comedy. I would love to hear what you guys have to say about the Victorian novel Lady Audley’s Secret by Mary Elizabeth Braddon.

  • The roasts are perfect

Just found this and it’s great, the roast episodes are especially good, but be careful about listening to the Alan Dean Foster ones while driving or you and your car might be aborne into a multitudinous array of inscrutable shrapnel due to your emotional tumescence (you might laugh so hard you’ll crash)

  • My absolute favourite podcast! Always makes me laugh. I had watched quite a few of Kellen's stand up and really enjoyed his comedy. So image my joy when, as a librarian, I discovered that he hosted a podcast with fellow comedian David Vance that was about books! Never fails to make me laugh, I love it so much and recommend it to all my family and friends. The Harry Potter and period literature are my favourite episodes.
