  • Not my fav anymore

Writing this not to be rude but as constructive criticism. I used to love this podcast it was educational and helpful. I think a few episodes sprinkled in about what’s going on in your personal life is fun. But for the past year I feel like the podcast has gone downhill because there is no longer much if any discussion of esthetics or product knowledge. Seems like every episode is mostly talking about random personal things, trips they are going on, and quickly rambling off product recommendatio... more

  • Skincare + Faith Mention

I really enjoy this podcast! Her skincare knowledge, tips, and the way she breaks things down make everything so easy to understand. I love her and Tyler’s energy and how she mixes real life, wellness, and faith in such a comforting way.

She sometimes talks about stars and planetary alignment when making life decisions, and while I personally believe our guidance comes more from God than astrology, I still appreciate her heart and the uplifting space she creates. I’d love to hear even more of h... more

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Rapid Fire Skincare Q&A
Q: Someone asked, tone smart versus color science flex.
Tone Smart is thicker and offers more coverage for some skin types, while ColorScience is thinner with a broader shade range; personal experience varies and some users prefer mixing enhancements or using them separately based on skin needs.
The Deodorant Allegations
Q: Can I use 8% Mandelic with Alpharet and AcneMed and PM or stick to AM only?
AM for Mandelic and Alpharet and AcneMed PM; add Lipid Serum in there for inflammation. If needing to tweak, Mandelic can be used at night without Alpharet.
We Read Your DMs
Q: What product lines would you recommend for a new esthetician just starting out?
Glymede and Face Reality are solid starting points, with emphasis on a simple, cohesive routine to build experience and client results.
Why Is My Pigment Not Fading?
Q: Is there an at-home peel you recommend for pigment concerns?
Skin Better Peel Pads with a 20% acid blend are highly effective options for home use, offering a balance of exfoliation and safety for pigment correction when used as directed.
Why Is My Pigment Not Fading?
Q: What should I use to reapply sunscreen throughout the day?
Use a sunscreen like No-Show for daily reapplication; it's lightweight, mineral-based, and blends with skin tone nicely, making it easy to layer over or under other products.
