  • I’m late

Oh how I wish I would’ve found you guys years ago! I listened to the 3 most recent and then decided to go back to 2020 and start listening from there instead!! It’s like sitting around with friends discussing the Bible. I can’t love this enough! Thank you all for doing this. It’s so needed. Just needed to stop and show some love and says thanks!

  • Faith Adjacent & AO3: A Memoir

How do I love thee, Faith Adjacent? Let me count the ways. My lifeline. My tether to sanity. My source of cackles, when the world tries to steal my cacks. I no longer feel alone when I listen, I feel supported, inspired, hopeful, educated. I remember that it is possible, Dear Reader, to love God and love people, and not be a butthead. I am thankful that Faith Adjacent exists, and that it, in conjunction with my concerning obsession with fan fiction on AO3, is helping me get through each day with... more

  • My favourite!

I have been listening to the Bible binge/Faith adjacent for many years. This podcast just keeps getting better and better, not only because I find Jaime absolutely hilarious, but also because they haven’t ignored those little misgivings that were often told to ignore in the name of religion. With curiosity and laughter, I enjoy learning something I didn’t know in each episode. 🥰

  • I miss the old pod

I miss the old Bible Binge format where hosts would go deep on a subject and bring greater insight to it. This current format seems to sarcastic and snarky and if all the listeners don’t think exactly the same as the hosts then they’re wrong. It feels like they are just tearing everyone down. I miss the deep dives into Bible stories where I learned things and possible motivations for why the Bible characters were like they were.

I’m also really disappointed in Jamie doing a commercial for... more
