I can best describe this show as feeling like you’re getting all the tea on an unspoken prayer request. When a new episode drops, I know that I’ll laugh, be encouraged and most likely challenged; and be left feeling like I just hung out with good friends. Bonus: I listened to FA so much during my pregnancy, the sounds of the opening theme can be used to immediately soothe my cranky infant.
The last thing we need is believers tearing people down. There is already so much of that in our culture. I guess this is supposed to be funny, but I don’t see it that way. You can create humor without belittling people.
I love this podcast and have listened for years. The ads are out of control. I understand the need for sponsorship, but if they’re going to be as long as they are, then please consider stacking them at the beginning, middle, or end, rather than interjecting ads at random times.
Faith Adjacent feels like a coffee date with good friends who are smart, funny, and kind. I wish everyone would listen to “Leaving Christian Nationalism with Reverend Rob Schenck.” Excellent.
so thankful for this podcast and the faith work of Erin, Evan, and Jamie
