  • An intelligent offering that lands with authenticity

I have profound respect for the effort Ben puts into accessing varied voices and providing space for their offerings. He shows such interest and genuine humility as he interviews guests. I have learned more than I can state, but have also felt oddly “seen” through his selection of guests and thoughtful questions. It’s like the professional version of “Hot Ones”, and I love it!

  • Worst podcast ever

I’m a fan of behavior psychology and I think this is the worst experience ever. The acoustics are horrendous. You have trouble getting the talk. It’s such a torture.

Rethinking Behaviour Support for PDA
Q: How should behavior analysts approach terminology and labels with PDA?
Many in the field prefer terminology like autonomy focused learners over PDA labels to maintain respect and reduce stigma. It's important to acknowledge the evolving nature of the terms and to focus on what supports learning and well-being rather than fixating on labels.
The Evolution of Behaviour Analysis in Australia
Q: Why pursue a PhD and Balance Program focus?
The PhD is motivated by a desire to bridge the research-practice gap and ensure practical, clinically relevant findings; Balance Program aims to prevent severe problem behavior by teaching protective skills early, with strong social validity.
The Evolution of Behaviour Analysis in Australia
Q: How did you find your way into Behaviour Analysis?
Niesha describes an early exposure through guest lectures, initial training with a clinic, and a passion for the precision and data-driven nature of ABA that hooked her on the field.
The Evolution of Behaviour Analysis in Australia
Q: Where do you see ABA in Australia over the next decade?
If the objectives are met, the field should gain greater recognition, expand beyond the disability sector into education and other services, and improve public understanding, with professional self-regulation providing stronger government credibility.
Building a Legacy: Quatiba Davis, Family, and the Next Generation of Behavior Analysts
Q: What does it mean for you to be the first or one of the few Black women in top leadership roles in ABA, day-to-day?
Quatiba explains that being visible comes with high expectations and the need to stay ethically grounded while also driving business growth and staff development; she emphasizes mentorship, data-driven decision making, and leading with transparency to inspire others.
