  • An intelligent offering that lands with authenticity

I have profound respect for the effort Ben puts into accessing varied voices and providing space for their offerings. He shows such interest and genuine humility as he interviews guests. I have learned more than I can state, but have also felt oddly “seen” through his selection of guests and thoughtful questions. It’s like the professional version of “Hot Ones”, and I love it!

  • Worst podcast ever

I’m a fan of behavior psychology and I think this is the worst experience ever. The acoustics are horrendous. You have trouble getting the talk. It’s such a torture.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Katisha Paul: One Heart, One Mind | Indigenous Sovereignty, Climate Leadership & the Future
Q: How do you balance ceremonial leadership with political and strategic work in everyday advocacy?
By shapeshifting between roles and spaces, drawing on deep cultural protocols to guide interactions with institutions while ensuring that Indigenous voices lead the process and that sovereignty remains at the center of all decisions.
Katisha Paul: One Heart, One Mind | Indigenous Sovereignty, Climate Leadership & the Future
Q: Can you explain what you meant by the idea that 'we are one heart and one mind' in the contexts you described at international forums?
The idea captures how Indigenous peoples from disparate regions share core laws and responsibilities toward the land, water, and relatives, and how unity amplifies the messaging for environmental protection, language preservation, and self-determination.
Building Autism Services from the Ground Up: The Story of ABA in Ecuador
Q: How did you first discover behavior analysis and decide to commit your career to it?
I grew up in Ecuador, moved to the US for study, encountered a child with autism, and through seeing ABA in practice, I realized it offered child-directed, functional improvements that fit real-life family needs.
Building Autism Services from the Ground Up: The Story of ABA in Ecuador
Q: What do you want ABA and Autism Services in Ecuador to look like in 10 years?
I want ABA to be legally recognized, taught in universities, and integrated as a service as essential as speech therapy, with government support and a pipeline of certified professionals.
Rethinking Behaviour Support for PDA
Q: How should behavior analysts approach terminology and labels with PDA?
Many in the field prefer terminology like autonomy focused learners over PDA labels to maintain respect and reduce stigma. It's important to acknowledge the evolving nature of the terms and to focus on what supports learning and well-being rather than fixating on labels.
