I have tried weekly to like these two but essentially they just hate on some pretty amazing products with little to no suggestions of better products. Both of them are co lately oblivious to the needs of any multicultural consumers frequently making some very embarrassing comments about African American skin/hair . it’s two Karen’s that put everything down and have a myopic view on the beauty space.
Love this brainy duo. I always learn something useful or entertaining upon each episode. Both Perry and Valerie bring a lot of interesting and useful facts to the world of beauty.
I love the Beauty Brains! Valarie & Perry answer all our questions & my hair is so happy!
Australian avid listener here! I love this podcast and how informative it is! Breaking down beauty science and myths is excellent and love listening!
I can’t put my finger on exactly why I love this podcast so much because I don’t understand any of the chemistry at all but I love the sincere mission of the presenters to de-bunk the marketing nonsense of beauty products (which I do love). I appreciate that they are not sponsored so can be neutral and honest in their reviews. Also, I like kitten chat, so all in all, LOVE.
