  • Disappointing

I was excited to listen to this podcast because the subject matter is one that genuinely excites me. Unfortunately, I found the production quality distracting. The audio quality was inconsistent, and the added sound effects or background sounds felt unnecessary and sometimes took away from the content rather than enhancing it.

The Biomimicry Institute is professional and well-organized, so I expected a more polished final product. The content has potential, and I hope future episodes receive ad... more

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Baratunde Thurston
Q: So, what do you think is new about AI and the machines we live with now, and what's just the same perennial questions about adapting to new technology?
The core fear around new tech is ancient—moral panic about power shifting and disrupting established orders—yet the distinctive part today is that these tools aim to collaborate with us and shape behavior, which demands a rethinking of autonomy and responsibility.
Janine Benyus and Christiana Figueres
Q: Christiana, tell us more about your thoughts on how nature and learning from it play a role in solving the climate crisis.
Christiana shares that learning from nature helps correct longstanding views, highlights reciprocity with the living world, and frames climate solutions as embedded in healthy, interconnected systems rather than isolated fixes.
