Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Adam Stirling Hour 2—November 26—2025
Q: How can we support British Columbians in experiencing the full range of benefits associated with doing that?
We've looked at the full scope of it and really focused our recommendations on what are the actionable next steps that we can continue to take to reduce emissions in the province across all sectors.
Adam Stirling Hour 2—November 26—2025
Q: I just wanted to get your reaction. The BC Greens have issued a release and they've expressed disappointment that the review is not more critical of LNG. I want to get your reaction to that.
I think one of our reflections through this is that as is often the case, particularly in politics, we can often center in on a single issue or a single sector.
Adam Stirling Hour 2—November 26—2025
Q: Just wondering if you could talk a bit about that in terms of a lot of these targets, you know, I know they're changed, they're readjusted, but can BC meet any of these targets with the new projects that are coming online?
My read is no, but let's hear what they say.
Adam Stirling Hour 2—November 28—2025
Q: Have we followed up with the UWSS since they discontinued their involvement about when we should, if we're going to pursue this course of IC, when that should be started again?
It's not so much that it's a discontinuation as it is the conclusion of the research project. So the research project is now finished.
Adam Stirling Hour 2—November 28—2025
Q: How do we land on that $85,000?
We haven't sought a request for quotes. We don't know that that's the exact cost.
