I fell in love with cycling during the pandemic, and it has helped me physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. As soon as I started I wanted to get into bikepacking. I also began searching for videos and podcasts to feed my mind and give me ideas. It took many years before I found this podcast, and I am so glad I did. I love how Gabriel talks with people who bike tour through various countries and through many different means. I also love how all of them got into it accidentally since... more
Really enjoyed listening!
This was the best bicycle touring podcast I’ve ever heard, and I’ve listened to a lot! What a beautiful concept! In 2009, at age 63 I bicycled across the US, thinking I was there for the scenery, but the most memorable part of the trip was the interesting people we met along the way. The subject of this podcast found the perfect way to collect interesting people as he traveled. I wish I could have been there. Fantastic! Well done!
This has quickly become one my favorite podcasts! Love all the different stories and kinds of people interviewed. Even more-I love the light hearted while still probing approach Gabriel uses on his interviews, and his totally celebratory and nonjudgmental take on his interviewees’ stories. And-of course, a big thanks to his wife for allowing him/supporting him/doing the heavy lifting while he spends time on the podcast!
What a gem! A lovely podcast with astonishing, heartwarming and addictive stories that only bike tourists can tell.
