  • Baseball talk long overdue

Great baseball chat at a good pace from two principals of Philadelphia's fearsome almost-dynasty of the late oughts. Guest suggestion: Pat Burrell, who contributed to the start of the Phillies' run and then played against them in the classic 2010 NLCS--was he always the nutter he became as a Giant?

  • Incredible interviews!

I just finished the Joe Torre episode and it is possibly one of the best interviews I’ve ever heard! Joe had such awesome stories and it was great to hear the three of them interact!

  • Great chemistry

Loved Rollins and Howard together in that Fantasy Baseball Camp commercial years ago where they hazy they fan. I thought it was so funny and always wanted more. Now we have it. They are great together and the real in depth baseball talk is priceless. Love it.

Kiké Hernández | The 6-1-1 Podcast Season 3 Ep. 9
Q: What was your welcome-to-the-big-leagues moment?
Two weeks after arriving in the majors, facing Jake Peavy and John Lackey, he was confronted with intense on-mound chatter from seasoned veterans; rather than being rattled, he stayed focused, which set the tone for his approach to competing at the highest level.
Jeremy Guthrie | The 6-1-1 Podcast Season 2 Ep. 20
Q: What does it feel like to represent your country in the World Baseball Classic?
It became more than just a song to commemorate the country in which we live, but it meant something more than that.
Freddie Freeman Part 1 | The 6-1-1 Podcast Season 2 Ep. 18
Q: How has your relationship with your dad shaped your interaction with your sons?
Freeman shares that his relationship with his dad, formed through baseball, helped him become a closer father to his sons while aiming to provide them with similar experiences and bonds.
Logan Webb | The 6-1-1 Podcast Season 2 Ep. 15
Q: What was the one piece of advice that Justin Verlander gave you during the season?
Verlander advised to not stress over allowing runs early in the game, emphasizing that as a starting pitcher, runs will inevitably be given up, and maintaining composure is key to going deeper into games.
Hunter Pence | The 6-1-1 Podcast Season 2 Ep. 13
Q: Hunter, take me through the very beginning, bro. Take me through, you know, getting drafted, coming through the minor leagues. What was that Welcome to the Big Leagues moment?
Pence recounts striking out on 10 or 11 pitches in his first game, receiving an ovation from fans which he had not expected, and getting hit by a pitch in his next at-bat out of retaliation.
