I think that, of all the political commentators that I follow, Tony most aligns with my own viewpoints,. His episodes are on the exact topics that interest me (catholic socialism, national-internationalism, christopher lasch, etc.), but it has been increasingly difficult to listen to this show because of how insanely long the episodes are. I am a patron because I believe in his work but find it a chore to get through up to 6 hours of content in one drop between the public and backroom episodes. ... more

Really enjoyable discussion and good guests. Good balance of deep dives on thinkers, and current events, etc. Love that the host has a thoughtful tone and lets his guests speak without interruption, while also adding his own thoughts that enrich the episodes. As a Canadian I would love more canadian content! I loved your episode about Canadian healthcare!
