  • Fun, local focused podcast but room for improvement.

That’s So Cincinnati’s local focus as well as the collection of interesting local interviewees including business leader and politicians makes it a nice weekly listen and offers a lot of potential. Updates on the events around the city as well as local political commentary from the hosts is interesting and provides value to the listener. Unfortunately given that this is the Cincinnati Enquirer’s main news podcast, it is disappointing that the questions for major Cincinnati stakeholder guests suc... more

  • Enjoyable

A good podcast for those who love to go deeper than a sound bite or headline on key newsmakers that make Cincinnati the great and diverse city that it is. Appreciate learning the back stories in the guests’ own words. This content doesn’t typically make it into news articles. Keep on bringing in great guests.

  • Establishment all the way

Keeps you current with local politics and business trends, but at its core a very establishment perspective with disturbing flares of ultraconservative vitriol, such as allowing the city prosecutor free reign to rant in gory detail about a black on white murder from the 90s. This was the kind of recitation that gratuitously forces a victim’s family to relive trauma (far more so than having the case relitigated). Show would do well to balance its right-leaning slant with other perspectives and is... more

  • Consistently Inconsistent

Some episodes are ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️, especially when they go deep on local politics and issues. However, most episodes are just meh. They do not really challenge guests and they tend to ask softball questions and that is what is so a Cincinnati about this podcast. They also beat dead horses. I cannot listen to another string of episodes about they litter problem. The updates are too incremental.
