  • Good content, too many ads

Lots of great speakers and talks, but I don’t think I can listen anymore with the number of ads. It’s insane.

Q: Will you tell us what the mission statement is?
It's love be loved, seek justice, keep learning and laugh.
4 relationship traps that lead to burnout | Eric Quintane
Q: What are the four relational traps, and how do they map to network structures?
The traps are: 1) cohesive network constraints where strong group norms can limit individual growth, 2) emotional contagion that amplifies negative emotions in a tight-knit group, 3) uncontrollable interdependencies where coordinating with many different professionals creates stress, and 4) excessive demands where many dependents increase workload; cohesive networks systematize the first two while open networks relate to the latter two.
How to understand money stuff (w/ Matt Levine) | from How to Be a Better Human
Q: Why do people talk about money as debt claims on society, and is money really real?
Money is essentially a record of claims on value held by institutions; it gains legitimacy through collective trust and legal frameworks, with banks owing the numbers on accounts, which is why dollars function as debt claims rather than physical assets.
