I get that people need money to make things. But when the 1st thing you hear ep. 1 is "if you like this show, donate!" it kind of puts me off. Having little money myself, I suffer through ads. And holy buckets, there are ads. Even in 1st several episodes, there's more ads than content.
Having said THAT (again - same with "Black Tapes"), it starts off great. But it tapers off immediately.
It's almost as if this specific creator starts with just an idea, and gets... LOST.
Simply the best. Love how they tackle so much occult history while telling a great, spooky story. Storytelling and production are both 10/10. TANIS is a classic as well as the coolest.
A little slow and confusing toward the end, but I like the ambiance of the sound design and found it to be a pleasant listen over all. Boring enough that you space out while you listen, convoluted enough that you have no clue what’s happening when you zone back in, so I’d say the plot needed some intrigue.
I loved Black Tapes, and it ended at the climax. I loved The Last Movie, it ended at the climax. I was so hoping that with five whole seasons this would be a complete story- once again, it ended at the climax. I'm sorry, but screw you, PNWS.
I really tried but cannot understand how anyone could get past the corny dialogue and clunky acting
