  • Premium Accessibility

Love the podcast but I’m also having trouble being able to access the premium content. Very frustrating. I thought the issue was Apple at first but now I’m not sure. Hope they figure it out soon.

  • The Invisibility Tangle are Creating by Staying Silent

    Hello Tangle Team

I’m a regular listener because your show generally does an excellent job of examining issues from multiple angles and modeling thoughtful engagement across differences. That’s precisely why I’m surprised—and frankly disappointed—by the absence of any sustained, in-depth focus on what has been happening and being inflicted upon to the Latino community in the United States. Hence, the two star rating.

Why do. I keep getting the Friday partial podcast even though I have subscription for. Podcast and news letter? 20 minutes of an interesting discussion and then can not listen to the final part. How can I get the rest? Help

  • Valentine’s Day

I’ve only been listener for a couple years so this only the second time listening to Isaac and his wife, Phoebe’s (sp) podcast. I like how incredibly real and genuine it is and a nice break from the news cycle.

Side note: It’s not always the woman who just needs to be heard when venting and not have the partner offer solutions. I’m that person in my relationship with my wife. That might be why I enjoy this episode the past couple years so much. It mirrors a lot of my relationship but with the r... more

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

The White House correspondents’ dinner shooting.
Q: The first time I saw the video of Alex Preti's previous encounter with ICE, and the comments about AI generation, what is Tangle's policy for vetting whether media is AI-generated?
Tangle explains a collaborative vetting process: they verify through multiple trusted outlets, consult experts, and post only after confirming legitimacy; they also emphasize a cautious, non-hasty approach to publishing breaking content and rely on a deep source verification workflow.
Virginia joins gerrymander war.
Q: What does the Virginia referendum mean for the 2026 elections?
It could produce a much more Democratic-leaning map, potentially shifting the House balance in Virginia and intensifying partisan competition in other states; however, legal challenges could alter its final effect.
A standoff in the Strait.
Q: What is stopping them from using an atomic bomb given the bombing by Americans and Israelis?
The guest explains that while physically possible, atomic weapons carry enormous moral, strategic, and geopolitical costs; deterrence is maintained by overwhelming global consequences, including the risk of massive humanitarian harm, escalation, and broad international backlash, making the grim option highly unlikely as a policy choice.
PREVIEW: SPECIAL EDITION - Isaac Saul interviews the front-runner of the Republican nomination for Governor of California Steve Hilton.
Q: Tell me a little bit about your background, your life story, and how you ended up here.
Hilton recounts a cross-Atlantic life path from Hungary to England, through Oxford, to politics in the UK, and then a move to California where he built a career in business and media before returning to policy work and eventually engaging in California politics. He highlights family, immigration, and a long-standing interest in problem-solving as his core motivators.
Orbán loses in Hungary.
Q: If mail-in voting continues, how would changes to the USPS affect the credibility and delivery of ballots if the Postal Service ceases operations, and what guarantees would be needed to prevent fraud?
The panel explains there is no precise forecast, but the USPS has a universal service obligation that currently ensures broad delivery coverage, and private carriers would face significant hurdles in delivering ballots to remote areas; oversight would be crucial to maintain integrity, and any shift would require strong regulatory and logistical safeguards.
