  • Fix audio?

Vansh’s audio is not good, sounds like he is under a blanket or under water. I have to keep putting my volume up and down. I think I’ll have to stop listening until you fix it.

Would rate higher than 4 if sound quality better. 5 for content

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Mensik beats Fonseca; Can he beat Zverev and reach French Open final? Mert & John discuss
Q: What do you make of the narrative around Zverev in terms of past clutch moments and how that might affect Mensik in the semifinal?
The hosts discuss that while Zverev has had notorious moments where he faded in late sets, Mensik's endurance and willingness to stay aggressive could pressure Zverev into errors, especially if the match goes to five sets; the key is maintaining intensity and not letting the scoreboard slip early.
David Witt interview on coaching Venus Williams, Jessica Pegula, Maria Sakkari & Frances Tiafoe
Q: What's a memorable moment where nerves almost got in the way of a match you coached?
A notable moment was Venus's closeness to reaching a pivotal phase in major finals where small changes could have altered the result; I focused on staying calm and providing clear, concise guidance to help her execute.
David Witt interview on coaching Venus Williams, Jessica Pegula, Maria Sakkari & Frances Tiafoe
Q: How did your relationship and method evolve with Jessica Pegula during that five-year period?
We started with a training stint in Boca, built a strong coaching bond, and helped her rise from around the 90s to the top 3; the ending was tough and underscored the business side of coaching relationships.
David Witt interview on coaching Venus Williams, Jessica Pegula, Maria Sakkari & Frances Tiafoe
Q: What was it like transitioning from a hitting partner to a full-time coach for Venus Williams?
The switch came gradually; they initially asked me to spar and train with Venus at a tournament near Jacksonville, then I pursued a full-time role which lasted about a decade, shaping how I coach players and manage high-pressure environments.
Sinner beats Shelton | Post-match analysis | Can either Zverev or Felix beat Alcaraz? | ATP Finals
Q: Do you think it's going to make any difference who Carlos faces?
It might; Carlos is likely a warm favorite against Felix, but Zverev could cause an upset depending on their match dynamics.
