  • Fix audio?

Vansh’s audio is not good, sounds like he is under a blanket or under water. I have to keep putting my volume up and down. I think I’ll have to stop listening until you fix it.

Would rate higher than 4 if sound quality better. 5 for content

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Interview with Matthew Futterman: Author of "The Cruelest Game"
Q: Why did you title the book The Cruelest Game?
The title arose quickly from the sense that tennis combines beauty with extreme mental and emotional tolls, and many players endure harsh experiences that are as cruel as they are compelling, while the sport's environment often magnifies those pressures.
Wimbledon: Serena Williams loses comeback match to Maya Joint! Eala makes history for the Philippines! Shelton, Vekic & Svitolina out! Swiatek survives!
Q: What stood out most about Serena Williams's comeback at Wimbledon?
Her level was surprisingly solid for a return, she showed fight and momentum in the early stages, but ultimately the distance and form gap showed in the decisive moments of the match.
ITIA CEO reflects on the doping cases of Marketa Vondrousova, Jannik Sinner & Iga Swiatek
Q: Could you explain the difference between the four-year ban for refusing a test versus the cases where there are missed tests or filing failures?
Refusing a test immediately triggers a four-year starting sanction, while missed tests or filing failures involve various administrative elements and can result in different outcomes based on fault or no-fault determinations.
ITIA CEO reflects on the doping cases of Marketa Vondrousova, Jannik Sinner & Iga Swiatek
Q: How long did the six-month window between notification and final decision typically take, and is that normal?
The six-month period is considered normal in such cases, reflecting the time needed for thorough investigation, preparation for tribunal hearings, and consideration of all relevant factors.
ITIA CEO reflects on the doping cases of Marketa Vondrousova, Jannik Sinner & Iga Swiatek
Q: First of all, what was the rationale for posting the video explainers in addition to the written statement?
The rationale is to be transparent and make complex case decisions easier to understand, ensuring that stakeholders across the sport can access clear explanations, not just lengthy tribunal documents.
