  • Great Hockey Prospect Podcast

Chris is great. It’s mostly all business with the exception of the final question on food (and who doesn’t like food). As a fan of a team going through a rebuild and a draft nerd I love the content. J.J. in Ann Arbor

UPDATE: I am also giving you a five star review for your spot on commentary regarding the draft being decentralized. YOU WERE PHENOMENAL!!!

I had hoped to one day go to a draft and for now it won’t happen.

Q: Which player group do you think will be the most impacted by this change immediately?
I think overagers for sure are the players that could stand to benefit the most. They're in their last year of junior eligibility and have a decision to make.

Q: What's your early read on the quality of the 2025 draft, both in terms of the top end talent, as well as overall depth of the draft?
The top end has immense talent, but depth is subjective; American talent may be weaker this year compared to Canadians.
