As a Young Ones fanatic I really appreciated the 12 part series on the Young Ones. Many recollections of cherished moments and some interesting insights. The reason I’m writing the review though is because of the interview with Lise Mayer. I loved this episode, especially the love for the late Rick Mayal and the puddle scene description. I love that I've stumbled across this podcast! I've been a Rik & Ade fan forever, and am old enough to remember enjoying ' Bottom' when it was brand new. Listening to this is like hanging out with fun kindred spirits... and I really enjoy playing along with the quiz at the end of each episode. *Now I'm only half way through Series ... more

Three hosts who are lifelong fans dissect, celebrate, and contextualize a beloved British sitcom with a mix of nostalgia, trivia, and sharp analysis. Episodes routinely cover production quirks, guest appearances, live events, and the show's cultural impact, often weaving in trivia, interviews, and live-cast discussions. The format balances affectionate fandom with careful dissection of jokes, production choices, and era-specific sensibilities, which can appeal to long-time fans and listeners curious about the history of modern British comedy. A notable strength is the deep dive into behind-the-scenes stories, guest perspectives, and the live-show/booking angles that give fans new angles on familiar episodes.
