Nothing to Lose, Everything to Build
Q: What was the turning point that moved Esusu from a consumer-facing idea to a scalable business model?
We pivoted from a direct consumer savings/debt model to a business-to-business approach after realizing that our initial architecture lacked virality and reach. Focusing on stakeholders in real estate and property management allowed us to sustain impact and scale in a way the consumer approach couldn't.
Beyond Shareholders: Rethinking What Winning Means
Q: What is the one non-negotiable belief that defines how you lead and treat people?
We will always do the right thing for patients, prioritizing their well-being over shareholder interests.
Beyond Shareholders: Rethinking What Winning Means
Q: How do you balance a big goal like that with the people-oriented principles you've discussed?
You must never forget why you are in business and remain focused on alleviating pain and improving quality of life.
Keep Sharp in Chaos: A Surgeon's Mindset Hack
Q: What are the things that you do to help ensure that you are fortifying yourself so that you could be your best self in all that you do?
I focus on exercise, movement, and meditation to alleviate stress and promote overall brain health.
Driven: Danica Patrick on High-Performance Mindset and Modern Leadership
Q: What mindset shift helped you take command of your career?
Being okay with change and being open to new opportunities when they arise.
