  • Tanya Gold!

I was thrilled to discover this podcast - and to hear my favorite food critic, the effervescent Tanya Gold. Scintillating (and entertaining) interviews with people who know and celebrate great food.

  • 5 STARS and more!

Just discovered this jewel of a podcast. Love the way both interviewers handle questions. Especially love the way they don’t talk over each other or interject their own tidbits - which I’m sure would be interesting, but would perhaps take away from the guest and their stories.

Many thanks for hours of enjoyment and knowledge!

  • Charming interviewers

The guests might sometimes be dull, and sometimes not even interested in food, but the hosts are wonderfully charming and perceptive. Some of the podcasts, such as that featuring the estimable and eloquent Fuchsia Dunlop, are stellar and worth more than one listen.

  • Fascinating interviews

Lovely interviews especially with chefs and cooks. My only gripe is the peculiar pronunciation by the presenters of 'cook' and 'book'!

  • I LOVE this podcast

I recently discovered The Spectator, thanks to Talk Radio, and was browsing to find an easy-on-the-ear, enjoyable podcast to listen to. This is just a dream. It’s an enveloping marshmallow comfort cloud of a listen but it’s also so intelligent and informative; additionally, the two presenters have such lovely voices that I’m thinking of going for elocution lessons ! I particularly loved the Cressida Bonas interview, but also the Marcus Wareing interview. Having watched Marcus on Masterchef for m... more
