I thought I left a review but maybe I accidentally left it on one of the episodes instead of the title. This has quickly become one of my favorite series. A thrilling sci-fi horror adventure. I'm not all the way caught up yet but I do know I've been listening every chance I get since I found this. I'm sad to see a one star review because of the sound effects. The story is told as if through a series of recordings and to me the sound effects bring immersion. This series is great and I wouldn't wa... more
I’m five eps in and so excited to have found a good new spec fiction podcast, esp one with multiple seasons so that I can binge.
But for the love of audio production, *please* tone down the Alex character’s overly loud, obnoxiously high-pitched voice.
Perkiness and enthusiasm are great, esp since the other characters don’t present that way and a range of personalities is important, but she literally gives me a head and ear ache. The fact that the character also does a lot of childlike whining... more
I’m so picky about fiction podcasts and this one is up there on my list of favorites. Thanks so much to the creators for making this ❤️
I tried to like this due to the interesting concept but the script and voice acting detracted from the experience.
I really was interested and am disappointed I can't continue. However, the squealing feedback noises they frequently employ are like daggers in my ears. Physically painful. It's just not something I can tolerate not matter how interested I am and it ruined the entire thing for me. I tried to get through it but can't. I'm really disappointed.
