Q: Can you share a little bit about what being part of an outlaw motorcycle gang was like?
To become a member, you go through a process and it can involve committing crimes or doing tasks assigned by senior members, which could range from simple tasks to more serious illegal activities.

Q: What made you decide to do this work specifically?
I started my organization because I wanted to support other people like myself that have been through it and I was lucky because I was given the opportunity to start my own organization.

Q: If anyone is thinking about stepping away from the club, what was it like for you?
Walking away from the club was the hardest decision I've ever had to make, and I spent a year and a half trying to fill that void back up and looking for my identity outside of the club.

Jacob shares that he started advocacy for survivors of institutional child abuse about six years ago and started his own business about four years ago.
