SuperHuman is a high-stakes, edge-of-your-seat docuseries that dives into the launch of what many have called the “Doping Olympics” - the Enhanced Games - a controversial new sporting event where performance-enhanced athletes openly compete for a $1 million prize and attempt to push the human body beyond its natural limits.
While the International Olympic Committee condemns it, broadcasters sali... more

If not sponsored content, then made by a fanboy. Guess that’s ok but I was looking for investigative podcast with a host who wasn’t salivating over the possibilities of the broader acceptance of performing enhancing drugs (for himself it seems). Came off a bit sad. Check out The Slow Newscast episode “Doped Up!” instead
What an absolutely stupid idea. Calling it “unleashing human potential” is laughable. It’s a complete snoozefest. Wake me up when humans can fly by flapping their arms or smash through brick walls. What’s the point of shaving half a second off a lap time or a few seconds in a swimming pool? None of this feels remotely beyond the ordinary. It’s just polishing the edges of the ordinary and dressing it up as something revolutionary.
Trying to love this podcast but the ads are crazy frequent!!! I hate to be an ad complainer but truly this episode was maybe 20 min.
Was hoping for a more nuanced dialogue about the enhanced games. Pretty clearly just paid for by the enhanced games to push their views.
Haven’t been this excited for an episode release in a long time. I enjoy hearing the varied opinions of high level athletes staunchly against, warming to, and onboard with doping. I’m on the edge of my seat.

This docuseries examines a controversial, high-profile sporting experiment built around performance enhancement. Across episodes, listeners follow athletes, physicians, and industry leaders as they navigate ethics, safety, and the economics of a world where “enhancement” could redefine sport and humanity. The narrative blends on-the-ground reporting, personal journeys, and expert context to ask who gets to decide what counts as fair play when limits are pushed and incentives are vast. A notable strength is its willingness to present intimate athlete perspectives alongside scientific and strategic viewpoints, offering a provocative lens on technology, policy, and culture in sport.
