The Bible makes a thousand times more sense when you view it as a collection of human writings by people who were making up answers to troubling questions about why things happen, attempting to institute rules to maintain order, and trying to help people not feel powerless in the face of struggles, suffering, and death. You might have to go thru a bit of a struggle, but you would be better off listening to Dan McClellan.
