This show is a true gift. I’m almost done slowly working my way through the Summa. It’s taken a few years. I’m about to start the supplement, and my wife just sent me this podcast the other day. I was excited for a chance to reinforce everything I’ve already read and hear it put into contemporary language. This is a must listen for all Catholics interested in the intellectual life. So good!
Austin is brilliant in his ability to succinctly and reverently summarize the greatest work of Catholic and philosophical literature beside the Bible, aka St. Thomas Aquinas’ Summa. He makes it so easy to understand and gives current examples on occasion to help relate seemingly classical ideas to the modern listener who may not be familiar with classical jargon. I highly recommend this podcast.
Think Catholic has given the world a true gift with the Summa in a Year Podcast. Our world needs the wisdom of men like St. Thomas Aquinas. Think Catholic delivers this in this podcast for those who maybe do not have the time to read all of the Summa, which is a good thing.

Austin Habash explains the Suma with amazing clarity by using mostly plain talk and simple easy to understand examples and analogies. I’m getting so much more out of the Summa than I did by simply reading St. Thomas Aquinas’ words.
