So I really love this podcast until Jim and Austin in the last podcast on rewriting history basically call my ancestors, hence me, traitors because they fought for the South. Much discussion about revisionist history about the South, but never a mention on the lack of history about the North. Too much to go into here, but needless to say the last 20 minutes of their last podcast was the most insulting, one-sided, history lesson I have ever listened to. Jim is fun to listen to. Can we get Austin a new mic? Great fun to hear them both.
Jim and Austin present in a entertaining and easy to understand way all the major foreign news you probably aren’t hearing about. They frame current events in a historical context, and include a lot of extra details the normal news leaves out.
Although the production quality leaves something to be desired, this is an interesting and insightful podcast. The presenters obviously are highly knowledgeable and experienced in the areas addressed.
But, basically, as it were, how should I put it, how shall I say it, after a while Dunnigan makes the podcast nearly unlistenable with his constant repetition of about five pet phrases and expressions.
