Extremely concerned and horrified by the host’s blasé attitude about a witness who had poured petrol on his wife and threatened to set her on fire. The host said directly to this person “everyone makes mistakes, right”. more
As a true crime fanatic, there isn’t much out there in the world of podcasts that I haven’t listened to. more
And excuses Moe’s violent past and cataloged about it like it was just a “silly accident” when he poured petrol on his first wife
So a women falsely accuses innocent men of rape, and yet little attention is given to these male victims whose lives have been ruined, in fact the podcast continues to cast doubt over these men. Instead the attention focuses on how the perpetrator has made it harder for future female victims of rape to be believed. This woman is a criminal and deserves the sentence she got. This podcast did not include balanced reporting by any stretch of the imagination.
Fascinating podcast, the amount of airtime given to Mo Rammy, a clearly aggressive, violent, mysoginistic abuser who went to prison for pouring petrol over his wife and setting her on fire is astounding. Something very dark appears to be happening in Barrow, covered up with the help of the police. I believe Ellie has suffered some very traumatic abuse.
