Story Break is a weekly podcast from RocketJump where we (Will Campos, Matt Arnold, and Freddie Wong) sit down in the RocketJump writer's room and attempt to "break" a story for a ridiculous concept, property, or idea that we in NO way have any rights to. Join us every week as we attempt to tackle everything from beloved video games to billion dollar franchises!

Story Break is back for a special episode - Will had a kid! And just like how we broke a story for Matt's daughter, we're doing one for Will's son!
The end of an era. We reminisce about our professional lives around this podcast, and break the movie adaptation for the podcast itself. Thank you all for listening!

This show and it’s hosts Will, Matt, and Freddy are hilarious and extremely heartwarming would probably be the first podcast I’d recommend if someone asked me to. Even though this podcast is ending I know that it’ll never be gone because even before it was ending I already constantly relistened to almost every episode. At this rate I’ll know every episode by heart in like 2 years. Whenever I want to listen to a random podcast that’s not part of a bigger journey or story, 60% of the time (and I s... more
I miss this podcast 🥺
I started listening to this in 2019 after finding their dnd podcasting because I wanted to listen to these cool guys more and was not disappointed. I loved every episode (especially ‘why did the chicken cross the road?’) and couldn’t get enough, so I’m Relistening. They provided great entertainment and distraction through highschool and Covid for me and would highly suggest giving these grade A boys a listen ❤️
You will laugh. You will cry. You will cringe. You will get mad. You will be utterly confused, and you’ll wish that a lot of these were real movies. I’m certainly crossing my fingers for Heaven Heist and Why Did The Chicken Cross The Road.
Storybreak is absolutely delightful! I enjoy listening to the guys spin these individual threads of story until they turn into some kind of cohesive tapestry. The stories are always entertaining, and the guys are very amusing! I’m smiling or laughing my way through my work day right now due to this podcast. I wish I was in a writers room instead! Well done!
