I love listening to your podcast and learning new words. My parents were both born and raised in Sicily so I grew up speaking Sicilian. My parents have both passed away and I don’t want to loose the language and I also wanted to learn “real” Italian. Would you ever consider reading a book to your audience? I’ve tried on my own but it’s to difficult. Keep up the good work
I’ve been listening almost daily for a few months and find it extremely useful and engaging. Elena is a good teacher and extremely likable. The topics are always well done. I like the new format, where she reads the entire thing in Italian and then reads it in short segments with an English translation. That allows you to really focus on the Italian. If you’re at an A2 or B1 level I think you will learn a lot here!
Thank you for your intimate teaching style.
I am trying to learn Italian so that I can speak to people in the town where my son has just moved. He is living in northern Italy near Crodo. I would like to visit him often there and would like to get to know his neighbors.
I am wondering if you are able to put your lessons into a format that shows translations into English as you teach?
I think that would be very helpful. Again thank you very much, I appreciate your podcast and listen to it often ... more
The podcast is, as I said, kind of random, I don’t understand anything the audio quality isn’t great.
I wouldn’t recommend THIS podcast to learn Italian. But I am pretty nice, so I will give a 5 stars.I warned you by the way when I say that this podcast isn’t “great”.
Mina, out.😜
Such an excellent podcast for those who are learning Italian. The phasing is really commendable and the translation per sentence or section in English is perfect for multitasking or when you are driving.
